Adopting a Pet from MMAH Rescue

NOTE -- Please complete and turn in an adoption application to be pre-approved for adoption. We will contact you to let you know if we have any further questions and when you are approved.  You are welcome to call and check on the status of your application at anytime. 

Call Ahead:
Even if you are approved, call first to make sure the pet you are interested in is still available.
We cannot “hold” animals. 

Vet Care Requirements to Adopt:
If you currently or previously have/had a dog
*Must be up to date on the following vaccines (distemper, bordatella, rabies) and fecal
*Must be up to date and have a consistent history of HW prevention and annual HW testing
If you currently or previously have/had a cat
*Must be up to date on the following vaccines (Annual RCPNL Vaccine, rabies) and fecal 

 –NOTE–To speed up the application process please inform your vet/clinic about your interest and give them permission for us to speak with them about your account.  Many clinics must have your permission before we can get any reference on your past vet history and this can slow the process of your application down tremendously. 

Need to RETURN an Adopted Pet?  If you can  no longer care for your adopted pet we do ask that you contact us first and we often can assist - however please NOTE that each request for return is by Approval Only & Case by Case Basis
